I'm only posting this all again because somebody tried to convince me the other day that Norton Personal Firewall saved them from 270 "hacks" in 2 days on their cable. Until I explained that this happens to everyone and so long as he doesn't have a trojan server on his machine then it'll be ok. I then explained what a trojan server is. And installed one. And passworded it. hehehehehe :D
Much more fun than pcAnywhere, and cuz he's on cable = always online. Fixed IP too... Although it's for his own safety, it's passworded with a 35-letter password so that other people can't use it. Basically so long as he has that trojan on there he's safe from attacks unless someone has a brute forcer and LOTS of time to wait.
