Thursday, July 18 Sup y'all. I just watched a film called White Man's Burden, starring that dude from Swordfish... Not Stallone... ack, whasshisname....Travolta! Thassit. Anyhoo, it's all about how, in this alternate reality, blacks are the domineering race, and they're the ones opressing the whites in the world, not the other way round like it still is in a lot of places today. The film really got me thinking about racial prejudice, and about how totally lame this world is. Give me a boat in the middle of the ocean any day... Well, so long as there's a broadband satellite hookup, fridge and portable generator on-board :D Rediscovered my love of the simple things again... Take Goldwave. Simple, but extremely powerful - I use it alongside the much-more-expensive Cool Edit 2000 for all my audio editing needs. I love the way you can deflash compressed mp3 audio to either the hard disk OR your RAM... which is kickass if you have 420mb of the stuff like me. That's about 35 minutes of audio I can hold after having Goldwave, Windows, and other bits and pieces loaded to memory. In the case of memory, more is better.
