Wednesday, May 7 I keep on receiving emails with .hta attachments, which Outlook helpfully blocks. The senders are "apparently" MAILER DAEMONs, these two times from excite.com and mailexcite.com (ringing any alarm bells already?) ... Oh, plus there's a spelling mistake in the reply. Robots don't make replies. AND they include the original message. I can only assume the .hta file contains a VBScript virus, but I'm not going to open them. However, I am going to virus scan the emails later with AVG, after I've updated the virus definitions.
