Christmas is rolling ever-nearer... And I don't really look forward to it that much. I think that some (hell, most of the) enjoyment of Christmas and the season in general has been removed from us by the sheer, unbridled materialism that companies are toting to us via adverts for "buy this buy that for Christmas". They make the whole thing seem like just another big shopping season.

And the weather sucks. I hate that too. And it gets dark at 3:45pm. That REALLY sucks... I think I might have SAD... (that's Seasonal Affective Disorder for those not in the know) or "Winterblues" as it's sometimes called. For more info: click here for Google's results of "SAD symptoms" (GOD I love Google. Sorry about not being online and blogging to the two people that read this... A dodgy network card took down all the PCI slots in my machine bar one. So at the moment I'm using onboard sound (eeeewwwww) and fortunately my graphics card works so I'm playing Mafia a lot. =D

Oh, and my modem card works (how else would I be online. :rolleyes: )
