Do you use Grisoft's free AVG?

If so, you might be surprised when you install their latest patch - it replaces the "up until 2021" free serial number with a 14 day trial key, and after that you have to pay...

So... What should you use instead?

I recommend AntiVir, by a German company - this is the free version of their Professional package designed for businesses... And it's free as in free free :) AntiVir Personal Edition (did I mention it's free).

Step 1: Beg/Borrow/Steal copy of Harry Potter 1. Step 2:

Download these alternative audio tracks for the film, convert to Audio CD (with something like Nero Burning ROM / your favourite Audio CD creation programme).

Step 3: Mute audio on TV, turn up volume on CD player.

Step 4: Line up start of the Audio CD and the film on the TV (use instructions on following site for best results)

Step 5: Lean back, relax, laugh a lot. :D

This worries me quite a bit...

It's surprising just how many people have spyware on their machines - take a look at this survey that Earthlink conducted a short while ago - the number of infected computers is really quite ridiculous.

Time to get Adaware distributed en-masse...

... And while you're at it, give me one of these Star Trek Communicator gadgets :D They actually exist! And work! Awesome.
